PS5 consoles will be on sale at UK retailer Game on Tuesday
Online queuing system will “make the process as smooth and fair as possible”
PlayStation 5 consoles and bundles will be available online at UK retailer Game on Tuesday morning.
The company didn’t specify what time the consoles will be available, although its recent PS5 restocks have gone live at around 11am BST.
“Tomorrow morning, we will be going live with a selection of PlayStation 5 Disc & Digital consoles & bundles,” the retailer said on Monday.
“Due to the large amount of traffic, we operate a queuing system to make the process as smooth & fair as possible to our customers.
“If you try and order more than one console, any additional orders will be cancelled within 24 hours.
“If you’re not able to secure a console online, please contact your local GAME store to discuss your options.”
Sony claimed in July that PS5 had become its fastest selling console ever after topping 10 million sales globally.
The console reached the milestone in mid-July, about eight months after its November 2020 launch, and just under a month faster than the PS4 managed.
“While PS5 has reached more households faster than any of our previous consoles, we still have a lot of work ahead of us as demand for PS5 continues to outstrip supply,” Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan said at the time.
“I want gamers to know that while we continue to face unique challenges throughout the world that affect our industry and many others, improving inventory levels remains a top priority for SIE.”
