PS5 consoles are currently in stock at UK retailer Game
UPDATE: A Digital Edition bundle is also available at Currys
PlayStation 5 consoles are currently available to purchase at UK retailer Game.
It says payments for successful orders won’t start to be taken until December 29, with priority orders set to be shipped by January 7 and standard orders by January 21.
At the time of publication PS5 consoles are available to purchase via this link, although you may be placed in a queue and there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to secure one.
UPDATE 24/12/21: Over 24 hours after its latest restock went live, multiple PS5 console bundles are still available at Game.
A PS5 Digital Edition bundle, which includes the console and a 1 TB WD _Black PCIe M.2 Internal SSD with a heatsink, is also currently available at Currys for £499.
Xbox Series X consoles are also still available to purchase at Amazon UK after its latest restock went live on Thursday.
ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: Game says demand for PS5 “far outweighs current supply” but that it’s taken measures (such as limiting consoles to one per customer) to ensure as many people as possible get the chance to purchase one.
Sony recently announced plans to release official coloured faceplates for PS5. Its range of ‘console covers’ will start rolling out in January 2022 and will come in five separate colours, designed to match those of current and upcoming DualSense controllers.
Before the covers launch, Sony will release three new DualSense colours – Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple. These controllers will launch globally starting in January 2022.
The controllers will then be followed by the release of the console covers, with Midnight Black and Cosmic Red arriving in January.
The Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple console covers will be released later in the year, during the first half of 2022.
