PS5 consoles are currently in stock at Game UK

UK retailer Game currently has a limited amount of PS5 consoles available to purchase online.

The site currently has 14 bundles available for ‘pre-order’, with the release date set for April 14.

According to Game, the reason they’re listed as pre-orders is to let the site perform automatic checks for scalpers before taking customer payments.

If these sell out, bundles including the console and certain games can be found here and tend to stay up for longer before selling out.

Stock is expected to sell out quickly, and Game has stressed on Twitter that “demand far outweighs the current supply”.

In a statement, the retailer wrote: “Online only – this morning we will be going live with a selection of PlayStation 5 consoles.

“PlayStation 5s continue to be in very high demand and that demand far outweighs the current supply. We have strong measures in place to ensure that our ‘1 per customer’ statement is maintained.

“Alongside this we have our usual ‘anti-scalping policy’ procedures in place to allow for as many individual customers to successfully purchase as possible.

“Please know that all pre-orders are subject to automatic checks. Order updates (such as cancellation emails) take place after a customer will have received a valid order confirmation email.

“At present these orders are still pre-orders and as such, no payments have yet been taken from customers. Payments will commence once our order and anti-scalping policy checks have been completed.”
