PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles will be available to purchase at Walmart today.
The retailer has confirmed plans to start taking online orders from 12pm PT / 3pm ET on Friday, November 5.
The consoles will be available via the following links, while supplies last:
- PlayStation 5 console – $499.99
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console – $399.99
- Xbox Series X console – $499
Today will mark the third time this week that Walmart has released PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles for sale online following drops on Monday and Tuesday.
US-based consumers hoping to purchase a PS5 console can also register their interest directly with Sony for a chance to do so. The company is making a limited number of PS5 consoles available for customers to purchase directly from PlayStation this holiday season.
Xbox Series X/S at retail
Last week, Sony said PS5 supply issues were negatively impacting hardware sales but that it remained hopeful of hitting its annual console shipment target of 14.8 million units.
In September, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said current console supply issues would continue into 2022.
And the boss of AMD, which makes the CPUs and GPUs inside PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, said in October that she expects chip supply issues to ease gradually in the second half of 2022.
