PS4 exclusive Concrete Genie set for October release
Deluxe edition and pre-orders detailed
PlayStation 4 exclusive, Concrete Genie will release on October 9, Sony has confirmed.
The game will be released as a standard edition and a deluxe edition, featuring a digital artbook, soundtrack, Pond Design Pack and an additional Dynamic Theme.
Developed by Entwined studio Pixelopus, the game features lonely protagonist Ash, who is tasked with bringing a polluted town back to life with magic paint, by using the Dualshock 4’s motion controls to freely draw friendly and helpful creatures on its crumbling walls.
The game’s latest trailer is said to unveil an “exciting gameplay twist, featuring ‘Paint Skating’ and other paintbrush abilities.
All editions of Concrete Genie include two PlayStation VR modes and its developer also confirmed on Tuesday that it will feature a Photo Mode, complete with a timelapse style ‘Replay’.
Everyone who pre-orders the game will receive an Avatar set as well as a special Dynamic Theme featuring a rooftop scene.
