PowerWash Simulator 2 is coming this year to PS5, Xbox Series and PC

PowerWash Simulator 2 is coming this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, developer FuturLab has announced.

The game, which will once again see players cleaning buildings with powerwashing tools, will be released later this year, though no specific date has been announced. A version of the game for Nintendo platforms is also missing from the annoucement.

PowerWash Simulator 2 will include a new campaign, as well as a new soap mechanic which will make cleaning larger areas easier.

Players will now be able to share campaign progression online with another player, and the game will add split-screen co-op for the first time.

“PowerWash Simulator 2 feels like a natural evolution from its predecessor,” said Dan Chequer, design director at FuturLab.

“The original game’s design was all about eliminating anything that detracted from the pure satisfaction of taking something dirty and making it clean. PowerWash Simulator 2 is all about adding in even more avenues for players to achieve that same sense of satisfaction, with new tools, features and quality of life improvements.”

FuturLab says it plans to share more information about the game in April.

Chris Mehers, COO of FuturLab said: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to finally announce the sequel to one of our most successful titles. With over 17 million players worldwide, PowerWash Simulator has allowed us to self-publish a sequel, an exciting challenge we are delighted to undertake.”
