Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s next 7-star Tera Raid features Decidueye
It’s the first chance players will get to catch one in the game
The next 7-star Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has been revealed, and it will mark the return of another legacy Pokémon not available in the main game.
As reported by the official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account, the next event will let players fight and catch a Decidueye.
Because Decidueye isn’t part of the game’s Paldea Pokédex, there hasn’t been any way for players to catch one until now.
As such, this 7-star Tera Raid battle event will be the first chance players will get to catch a Decidueye for their collection.
The Decidueye in this event will be unique in that it will have the Flying Tera type (it’s usually a Grass/Ghost type Pokémon) and will have the Mightiest Mark (which shows it was caught during the raid).
The event will take place on two separate occasions. The first session will start and end at the following times:
- PT – March 16 at 16:00 until March 19 at 15:59
- ET – March 16 at 19:00 until March 19 at 18:59
- GMT – March 17 at 00:00 until March 19 at 23:59
The second session will start and end at the following times:
- PT – March 23 at 16:00 until March 26 at 15:59
- ET – March 23 at 19:00 until March 26 at 18:59
- GMT – March 24 at 00:00 until March 26 at 23:59
Last week a datamined list of around 220 Pokémon that will be seemingly returning to Scarlet and Violet as part of its upcoming DLC was posted online.
A Pokémon Presents broadcast last week revealed that the upcoming two-part expansion, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, will reintroduce older Pokémon not currently found in the Paldea region.
These will include Milotic, Nintetails, Shiftry, Metagross, Seel and Alcremie.
