Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC Pokémon Home compatibility coming soon
Update version 3.1.0 will include compatibility, TPC confirms
Pokémon Home compatibility for the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC will be added to the game soon.
In a Tweet from the official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account, it confirmed that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet update version 3.1.0 would include compatibility with Pokémon Home, allowing players to transfer Pokémon caught in the DLC to the Pokémon Home app.
While no release date for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet update version 3.1.0 was given, it may release alongside the upcoming DLC: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask, which releases on September 13. The second part of the DLC will be released later this year.
The Pokémon Company also confirmed over the weekend that the upcoming DLC will reintroduce every starter Pokémon that was missing from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
This will mark a first for the series, which has never had every single starter Pokémon obtainable in the wild. These Pokémon will appear as part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk.
The Pokémon Company also showed off several new moves that will be introduced in the upcoming DLC, as well as the first gameplay footage of Raging Bolt and Iron Crown.
The Pokémon Company is “having conversations” about how to ensure the quality of future games under its frequent release schedule, it’s said.
