Pokémon Company confirms London’s Pokémon Center won’t sell the viral Prismatic Evolution set
The new set has been sold out across the world
The pop-up Pokémon Center in London will feature no Prismatic Evolutions products, The Pokémon Company has confirmed to VGC.
The new set, which was released earlier this month, has been sold out across the world, with the most valuable cards going for thousands on secondary markets. It was assumed that the pop-up Pokemon Center would also stock the new set, however this won’t be the case.
“Please note that the EUIC Pokémon Center pop-up store will not have any Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet – Prismatic Evolution products available for purchase,” The Pokemon Company told VGC in a statement. “More new products from Scarlet & Violet – Prismatic Evolutions will be available to purchase via the Pokémon Centre online in the coming months.”
The Pokemon Company released a statement last week confirming that it plans to print more of the set due to many fans being unable to find any of the TCG products at retail stores.
Videos of people fighting over the set in supermarkets in the US appeared online over launch weekend.
The Pokemon Center returns to London next month. The Pokémon Company has said it’s “investigating” ways to improve its online registration process after thousands of fans were unable to register for the 2025 Pokémon Center London pop-up store.
