Pokémon Go Fashion Week will see Pokémon ‘wearing a fashionable costume’
New Pokémon and new shiny Pokémon highlight this fashionable event
Pokémon Go Fashion Week, the next event in Pokémon Go has been revealed by Niantic.
Fashion Week, which will start on 27 September at 10 AM local time until 3 October at 8 PM local time, is the latest weekly event in the Season of Light even in Pokémon Go.
This event, which lasts until 1 December, has included player bonuses such as seasonal Pokémon in the wild, more Stardust from gifts and free raid passes.
Mareanie and Toxapex will make their first appearance in Pokémon Go as part of the Fashion Week event.

Not only that but certain classic Pokémon will be found in the wild “wearing a fashionable costume” according to Niantic. Diglett, Dugtrio, Absol and Toxicroak will all appear in larger numbers in the wild wearing hats or sunglasses.
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild:
- Butterfree (fashionable costume)
- Murkrow
- Glameow
- Croagunk (fashionable costume)
- Blitzle (fashionable costume)
- Gothita
- Frillish (F)
- Furfrou
- Mareanie
Rare spawns:
- Diglett (fashionable costume)
- Kirlia (fashionable costume)
- Absol (fashionable costume)
Butterfree, Murkrow, Glameow, Croagunk, Blitzle, Furfrou, Diglett, Kirlia and Absol can also be found in their shiny form during the event.
During the event, the following Pokémon will appear in raids:
One-Star Raids
- Diglett (fashionable costume)
- Shinx (fashionable costume)
- Croagunk (fashionable costume)
- Scraggy
- Furfrou
All of these Pokémon apart from Scraggy can be found in their shiny form, and completing these raids will give players a higher chance of encountering a shiny.
Three-Star Raids
- Butterfree (fashionable costume)
- Kirlia (fashionable costume)
- Absol (fashionable costume)
- Mareanie
Mareanie is the only Pokémon in the three-star raid tier that won’t have a chance to appear in shiny form during the event.
Five-Star Raids
- Yveltal
The main legendary Pokémon of the 3DS game Pokémon Y returns to Pokémon Go. This time, players will have a chance to encounter the shiny version of the dark-type powerhouse.
Mega Raids
- Mega Lopunny
Mega Lopunny will feature as the Mega-evolved Pokémon for this event. Players may also encounter the shiny version following the completion of a raid.
7K eggs will also receive a new batch of Pokémon that can hatch from them.

- Croagunk (fashionable costume)
All of these Pokémon have the chance to appear in their shiny form.
