PlayStation’s Puma collaboration goes live tomorrow
It’s the latest fashion collaboration from PlayStation
PlayStation and Puma have announced a new collaboration.
The first items from the new fashion line go live tomorrow, Wednesday, April 18, and will be available from Puma stores, and the brand’s online store.
Two pairs of shoes will be released as part of the line, both featuring a white and blue colour scheme, as well as the PlayStation logo and the controller symbols.
Clothing featuring the PlayStation branding will also seemingly be released as part of the collaboration, although details on this release have yet to be announced by Puma.
This is the latest in several fashion collaborations from PlayStation. The most notable was the several pairs of Nike sneakers that were released featuring PlayStation branding. Most of these shoes were in collaboration with basketball star Paul George, who received several different color schemes of PlayStation-themed Nike shoes.
The original Nike / PlayStation collaboration, a pair of Nike Air Force 1 shoes, regularly sell for over £4000 due to their extreme rarity.
A PlayStation 5 Pro console will reportedly be released later this year, as details about the specs of the rumored machine circulate online.
Documentation explaining the console’s specifications was first leaked by YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead last month.
However, as spotted by The Verge’s Tom Warren, the video by Moore’s Law is Dead is now offline, with a message saying it “is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Sony Interactive Entertainment”.
