PlayStation’s Concord is getting a US-exclusive PS5 controller

Sony‘s Concord is receiving an official PS5 DualSense controller.

The new themed DualSense will be released in the US only, and is available for preorder now. The controller will be released on August 23.

The front features a design based on the game’s ship, with the back featuring the game’s logo. It’s unknown if the controller will be released after the pre-order period ends.

The controller is available exclusively via PlayStation Direct.

Firewalk Studios recently confirmed that the upcoming live service shooter won’t have a battle pass.

In a recent FAQ, the developer also discussed progression, maps, modes, and plans for post-launch support.

“Concord does not have a Battle Pass,” the studio confirmed. “We wanted to focus our attention on making Concord a rewarding and robust experience on day one, where just playing the game, levelling up your accounts and characters, and completing jobs yields meaningful rewards.”

It also said that the progression rewards available in the beta were just a small selection of the unlockable items that will be included in the $40 / £35 game when it’s released for PS5 and PC on August 23.
