PlayStation VR2 looks set to feature at Sony’s CES press conference

PlayStation VR2 could take centre stage at Sony’s CES 2023 press conference.
The upcoming PS5 VR headset is the subject of the preview image for the event’s YouTube live stream (pictured above).
Sony‘s CES press conference will take place on January 4 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET (January 5 at 1am GMT).
PlayStation VR2 will launch on February 22, 2023. Priced at $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99, it includes the PS VR2 headset, PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones.
There is also a $599.99 / €649.99 / £569.99 bundle which includes a PlayStation Store voucher code for launch title Horizon Call of the Mountain.
A separate charging station for the headset, which allows players to charge the PS VR2 Sense controllers while keeping the PS5 console’s USB ports free, costs $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99.
Sony Honda Mobility, a new joint venture that plans to use music, movies and gaming to create electric cars built around a premium entertainment experience, will make an appearance at Sony’s CES press conference.
It intends to launch its first electric vehicle in North America by 2025 and has said it’s “technologically possible” to integrate the PS5 platform into its cars.
PlayStation Store launched its January Sale on Wednesday, featuring savings of up to 75% on games and DLC, according to Sony.
Over 3,000 products have been discounted including high-profile games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, FIFA 23, Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West and Gotham Knights.
