PlayStation Portal is currently back in stock in the US
The handheld quickly sold out following this month’s launch, but Walmart has new stock
Fresh PlayStation Portal stock has been made available to purchase in the United States for Cyber Monday.
At the time of publishing, Walmart is selling the sought after PS5 streaming device for $199.
The handheld appears to be cycling in and out of stock, so if it initially shows up as unavailable, it’s worth persisting as you may get lucky later.
PlayStation Portal quickly sold out following its launch earlier this month and today’s availability is likely to be fairly limited.
It’s currently unknown when PlayStation Portal will be widely available to purchase again.
In the US, Sony‘s PlayStation Direct site says of the handheld: “Please check back early December for more details on stock availability.”
It’s also currently unavailable to purchase in the UK.
Our PlayStation Portal review said: “PlayStation Portal is a solution to a problem that not everyone has. The hardware is excellent, and it does exactly what it advertises, but the use cases for PlayStation Portal aren’t plentiful.
“There will be people for whom this machine is a godsend and others who equally couldn’t find a reason to use it if they tried. The Bluetooth situation is the only real black mark against the machine, but it’s a significant one.”
