PlayStation Plus Premium is adding 5 more Ratchet & Clank games this month
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is also getting a free 20th Anniversary Armor Pack today
Insomniac Games has announced that five more Ratchet & Clank games will be added to PlayStation Plus Premium later this month.
The news was revealed in a PlayStation Blog post to coincide with the game’s 20th anniversary today.
Joining the service on November 15 will be Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked, and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.
While the first four of these games were originally released for PS2, its their PS3 versions that are being made available to PlayStation Plus Premium members.
In addition to a catalogue of downloadable PS4 and PS5 games, PlayStation Plus’s Premium tier offers members a selection of classic PS1, PS2 and PSP games to download, and PS3 games via cloud streaming.
The Premium tier already plays home to five Ratchet & Clank games: Future: Quest for Booty (PS3), Future: A Crack in Time (PS3), All 4 One (PS3), Full Frontal Assault (PS3), and Into the Nexus (PS3).
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is also getting a free 20th Anniversary Armor Pack today featuring the following cosmetics:
- Commando Armor inspired by Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando
- Holoflux Armor inspired by Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
- Quest Armor inspired by Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty
- Marauder Armor inspired by Ratchet: Deadlocked
- Clank Armor to celebrate the greatest of pals
November’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are Nioh 2 (PS4 / PS5), Heavenly Bodies (PS5 / PS4) and Lego Harry Potter Collection (PS4). These titles can be claimed by PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium members.
Sony confirmed earlier this week that number of PlayStation Plus subscribers has dropped by nearly two million since the service underwent a revamp in early June, which is when it introduced its current three tier structure.
