PlayStation 4 exclusive leads Gamescom Awards 2019 nominations
Concrete Genie up for four prizes at the show
The nominees for the Gamescom Awards 2019 have been announced.
PlayStation 4 exclusive Concrete Genie is up for four awards, including best family game, most original title and best PS4 game.
Fellow Sony-published PS4 exclusive Dreams is nominated for awards in those three categories too, while Borderlands 3 has also scooped three nominations, in the best action, best Xbox One and best PC categories.
[Update Monday August 19: The first set of Gamescom Awards 2019 winners has been announced.
The nominees were selected by a jury consisting of international games journalists and influencers, which will also name a best games company and Gamescom indie award winner on Saturday, August 24 at 3.30pm CEST (2.30pm UK / 9.30am EDT).
Gamescom attendees will be able to vote for winners in the fan award categories: best booth, best eSports experience, best streamer, and most wanted game, which is selected from all the nominated titles.
