PES 2020 reveal trailer shows new legend managers feature
Have Maradona, Cruyff or Zico representing you as Master League manager
The first trailer and details for the 2020 instalment of Pro Evolution Soccer have been released.
eFootball PES 2020 (to give the game its full name) will launch on September 10 and includes a number of new features.
Among the most notable of these is a complete overhaul of the popular Master League mode, including the option to choose from several legends as the team’s manager (instead of having to create your own likeness). These include Diego Maradona, Johann Cruyff and Zico.
Other Master League changes include a new dialogue system that gives players more control over story progression, a new algorithm that makes sure transfers, fees and salaries are more realistic, and the ability to create sponsor logos that will appear on backdrops during interviews.
Outside of Master League, a new Matchday mode has players choosing between two teams at the start of a match week and contributing to a total online score as they play, with the best players chosen to take part in a Grand Final.
Gameplay improvements include upgraded trapping mechanics, context-sensitive kick accuracy, a new intentional foul move and a new dribbling technique called the Finesse Dribble.
eFootball PES 2020 will be available in a standard edition and Legend Edition. The latter includes Ronaldinho and Messi as loan players in myClub mode. Both versions will also include Andrés Iniesta and 1,000 myClub coins.
