Persona 5 Tactica was briefly released on Steam today, over a week early

Persona 5 Tactica was briefly released on Steam on Wednesday, over a week ahead of its official launch.

While the game wasn’t meant to be released until next Friday, it appears to have accidently been made available on Valve’s digital distribution platform ahead of schedule.

By the time the error was rectified, news of the game’s availability had started circulating online and some players had already reportedly started playing it. According to SteamDB, it had a peak of three players.

VGC has contacted Atlus for comment on this story.

Announced at the Xbox Games Showcase in June, Tactica is a tactical spin-off of Persona 5.

It’s officially scheduled for release on November 17 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows, Steam, PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
