Microsoft is bringing the game to Nintendo’s console next month
Microsoft will release Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch on September 27.
“Explore the mysterious and beautiful forest of Nibel in the visually stunning action-platformer Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition, developed by Moon Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios,” Nintendo said on Monday.
“Winner of multiple prestigious awards, the game tells the tale of a young orphan destined for heroics, and features hand-painted artwork, meticulously animated character performance and a fully orchestrated score.”
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition originally released in 2016 for Xbox One and PC. It has a score of 88 on review aggregation site Metacritic for both platforms.
Monday’s news was revealed during a Switch indie games showcase (video highlights below), which also confirmed surprise launches for Superhot and Hotline Miami Collection on Nintendo’s console today.
