Now EA has released Titanfall 2, The Sims 4 and more for Steam

Electronic Arts has brought more of its games to Steam, including Titanfall 2 ($10/£8) and The Sims 4 ($20/£17).

On Thursday the publisher also released A Way Out ($15/£12), Need for Speed: Most Wanted ($5/£4) and Dead Space 3 ($10/£9) on the PC games platform, all at temporarily discounted prices.

The latest additions follow last week’s Steam releases of Dragon Age 2 (£8.99), Crysis 3 (£8.24), Need for Speed Heat (£23.99), Mirror’s Edge Catalyst (£8.99), Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville (£17.99) and Burnout Paradise Remastered (£4.49).

EA announced last year that it would bring its games to Steam, starting with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, following a long period restricting its releases to its own Origin platform.

Electronic Arts will bring its EA Access subscription service to Steam in the near future, it’s said.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson said last year: “Through our subscription, great games and more, we’re excited to bring players in the Steam and Origin communities together with access to the best games, whenever and wherever they want to play.”

The Publisher’s EA Play Live event, where it’s expected to announce its full line-up of games for the year, is set to begin streaming at 4 pm PST/7 pm EST/midnight UK.
