No More Heroes 3 trailer reiterates 2020 Switch release
Grasshopper offers new look at action sequel
Grasshopper Manufacture has premiered a new trailer for No More Heroes 3.
The action sequel is set for release on Nintendo Switch in 2020, with a score by lead composer Nobuaki Kaneko, as well as Robin Atkin Downes reprising his role from the previous titles in the series as Travis Touchdown.
Original series lead character designer Yusuke Kozaki will reprise his role, as well as boss character designer Masanori Ushiki.
The first two games in the Grasshopper Manufacture series were released on Wii, while spin-off Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes launched on Switch in January 2019.
“Travis Touchdown returns to Santa Destroy after a 10-year absence,” Nintendo said in its June 2019 announcement.
“There he finds a huge artificial island metropolis floating in the sea, and a mysterious flying object hovering high above.”
“Thanks to everyone’s support of TSA, we are finally able to make the dream come true,” developer Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda said on Twitter at the time. “Thank you all so much! Our main man has returned to the bloodsoaked world of killing. No More Heroes III Welcome to the Garden of Madness.”
