Nintendo has confirmed it will live stream a new Indie World Showcase on Wednesday, May 11.
The 20-minute digital event will begin at 7 am PT / 10 am ET / 3pm BST and feature upcoming indie games headed to the Nintendo Switch system.
You’ll be able to watch the broadcast live via the YouTube video embedded at the top of this page.
Nintendo’s last Indie World Showcase was held in December and used to present details on 19 games headed to Switch.
It included four titles hitting Switch on the day of the presentation – Dungeon Munchies, Let’s Play! Oink Games, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, and Timelie.
Also shown during the event were OlliOlli World, Afterlove EP, Loco Motive, River City Girls 2, Dungeon Munchie, Omori, Don’t Starve Together, Sea of Stars, Aliisha – The Oblivion of Twin Goddesses, Endling – Extinction is Forever, and Figment 2: Creed Valley.
Nintendo Switch has made further ground on the company’s best-ever selling games hardware, with 107.65 million units shipped as of March 31, 2022, the firm said on Tuesday.
Earlier this year Switch was already confirmed as the best-selling Nintendo home console of all-time, beating Wii’s 101.63m. However, it still has a way to go before it matches Nintendo DS’s 154.02m units sold, and Game Boy (and Game Boy Color) at 118.69m.
