Nintendo Direct: watch the E3 2021 live stream here
Tune in from 9am ET / noon ET / 5pm BST
As E3 2021 starts to come to a close, there’s one more big presentation to go.
Nintendo‘s E3 2021 Direct presentation is kicking off soon, and you can watch it live via the YouTube video embedded above.
The main event will kick off at 9am PT / noon ET / 5pm BST and will feature 40 minutes of news on upcoming Switch games.
This will be followed by around 3 hours of gameplay footage at Nintendo’s Treehouse Live E3 2021 stream.
Nintendo has kept naturally tight-lipped about what could be shown at its presentation.
Fans will be hoping for more information on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, which was announced two years ago.
In February, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma apologised to fans for the lack of updates on the game, and promised there would be more information coming in 2021.
“Development is proceeding smoothly, and we should be able to bring you some new information this year,” he said at the time.
Some are also hoping for the first information on the much reported Switch Pro hardware.
Previous reports suggested that Nintendo was planning to reveal the hardware before its presentation, but this ultimately didn’t happen, and although tweets promoting the event state that the focus will be entirely on games, Nintendo has broken its own rules during some Directs in the past.
