Nintendo Direct live stream: Watch it here

The new Nintendo Direct live stream starts at 6pm ET / 11pm BST

Thursday’s Nintendo Direct live stream begins shortly, and you can watch it via the video embed on this page.

The live stream kicks off at 3pm PT (6pm ET, 11pm BST) and will last 40 minutes. According to Nintendo, the presentation will be “focused mainly on Nintendo Switch games launching this winter.”

One new game announcement has seemingly leaked already ahead of the Nintendo Direct, after Nintendo itself listed the unannounced game on its website. An updated release date for Bayonetta 3 might also suggest an appearance.

The new Direct will also likely include a new controller, after a US government listing suggested one would be revealed this week.

The last full Nintendo Direct presentation took place during E3 2021 in June and revealed a number of new games.

Most notable of these was Metroid Dread, the first mainline 2D entry in 19 years, which will end a story arc that began in the 80s.

Nintendo also revealed a new Advance Wars title, which will remake the original strategy games from the Game Boy Advance, as well as WarioWare: Get it Together (which has since been released).

The Direct concluded with the first look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 since its announcement two years ago. The sequel will feature an expanded world, Nintendo said, and is targeting a release in 2022.
