Next week’s free Epic Games Store titles have been confirmed.
A Game of Thrones: The Board Game Digital Edition and Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 will be available as free downloads from Epic’s PC marketplace from June 23-30.
They will replace Supraland, which is now free to claim until June 23. It’s billed as “a mix between Portal, Zelda and Metroid.”
The Epic Games Store gave away 89 free titles last year (down from 103 in 2020), with a combined worth of $2,120. According to Epic, users claimed over 765 million free games in 2021.
Amazon today announced that its annual shopping event, Amazon Prime Day, will be held over two days this year, from July 12-13.
To coincide with the announcement, it said it will be giving away over 30 PC games to Amazon Prime members at no extra charge over the next month.
During Prime Day, Prime members will be able to claim over 30 free games including Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Grid Legends, Need for Speed Heat and Star Wars Jedi Academy.
And from June 21 until July 13, Prime members can also start “freeloading more than 25 free indie games instantly”.
Games on offer will include Death Squared, Fatal Fury Special, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Gone Viral, Hue, Metal Slug 2, Pumped BMX Pro, Samurai Shodown II, The Darkside Detective and The King of Fighters 2002.
