The Big Con and Town of Salem 2 will replace Ghostrunner, which is currently free to claim
Next week’s free Epic Games Store titles have been revealed.
The Big Con and Town of Salem 2 will be free to claim on Epic’s PC marketplace from April 18-25.
“Hustle and grift your way across America in the ‘90s as a teenage con artist on a crime-filled road trip adventure,” reads a description of The Big Con. “Play as Ali, a curious and sarcastic high schooler who ditches band camp to go on a cross-country road trip to save her family video store.”
Town of Salem 2’s store listing reads: “Step into the Town of Salem, a realm of Mystery and Deceit awaits! Join us in this thrilling online strategy game. Experience paranoia, taste triumph, and confront Murder in every move!”
The Big Con and Town of Salem 2 will replace Ghostrunner, which is now free to claim from the Epic Games Store until April 18.
According to publisher 505 Games, “Ghostrunner offers a unique single-player experience: fast-paced, violent combat, and an original setting that blends science fiction with post-apocalyptic themes. It tells the story of a world that has already ended and its inhabitants who fight to survive.”
Epic Games held its annual State of Unreal keynote at GDC last month, which featured the reveal of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
The company also reiterated plans to bring Epic Games Store to mobile later this year, among other announcements.
“EGS will become the first ever game-focused, multi-platform store, and will work across Android, iOS, PC, and macOS,” it said.
“Mobile developers will benefit from the same fair terms on EGS for PC: 88/12 revenue share and the same programs you can leverage to keep 100% of revenue using your own payments for in-app purchases, Epic First Run, and Now On Epic.”
Microsoft’s head of gaming, Phil Spencer, has said he’d like to make other digital storefronts like the Epic Games Store available on Xbox consoles in the future.
