New Warzone update released as Call of Duty launches double XP weekend
Patch includes fixes for problems with hit markers and weapon XP
Raven Software has released a new Call of Duty Warzone update featuring several bug fixes.
The patch was rolled out shortly before the launch of the latest double XP weekend for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
It includes fixes for problems with hit markers, weapon XP in Modern Warfare and UI elements on the loadout menu.

Last week Raven released a Warzone update that included a fix for the infinite stim glitch, which has become a recurring problem, and earlier this week it removed the Armored Royale mode in order to help combat an invisibility glitch.

A double XP weekend for Warzone and Black Ops Cold War also launched on Friday and runs until February 16.
Black Ops Cold War, which was only released in November 2020, already ranks among the top 20 best-selling games in US history, market research firm NPD Group said on Friday.
Earlier this month Activision announced plans to release a new premium Call of Duty game in the fourth quarter of 2021 and claimed that the Call of Duty franchise has generated $27 billion in lifetime sales since launching in 2003.
