New Switch Joy-Con colours released
See where’s cheapest to buy the blue/neon yellow and neon purple/neon orange controllers
Nintendo released new Switch Joy-Con colours on Friday October 4.
Announced alongside the updated flagship Switch console in July, the new controllers come in the form of a blue/neon yellow set and a neon purple/neon orange pair (both pictured).
While Nintendo sells them for $79.99/£69.99, we’ve spotted them cheaper elsewhere in the UK on launch day.
At the time of publication, you can pick up the blue/neon yellow Joy-Cons for £64.85 at ShopTo, or for £64.99 at Amazon and Smyths.
The neon purple/neon orange Joy-Cons are also available for £64.85 at ShopTo, and for £64.99 at Amazon and Smyths.
In the US, we couldn’t find the new controllers cheaper than $79.99 at Amazon and Best Buy, among other retailers.
If you just need new Switch controllers and you’re not fussed about the colour, ShopTo has older sets for £59.85, while Amazon‘s selling them from $66.99.
Nintendo has said it’s planning to release “a small amount” of additional Switch SNES controllers for sale in Europe soon, after they launched on Monday before quickly becoming unavailable.
