New Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom trailer shows off Zelda’s combat abilities
The game will be released next month
Nintendo has released a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, which shows off Zelda’s combat abilities.
The trailer, which can be viewed below, shows off her Swordfighter form, which allows her to face enemies in battle for a short time.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be released on September 26, alongside a new Zelda edition Nintendo Switch Lite console.
“While exploring the Still World Zelda will find a mysterious sword allowing her to transform into a powerful Swordfighter form for a short time and battle enemies head-on,” Nintendo’s description of the game reads.
“With its mighty power, she can forge ahead when her path is blocked, strike down enemies on her own, and battle alongside echoes. The sword’s gauge can be replenished by collecting energy found in the Still World.”
It’s believed that Link may be playable in the game, according to the game’s ESRB rating.
“Hyrule is home to many quirky characters and some of them will be of great help to the princess,” Nintendo’s description continues.
“For example, Dampé, an engineer of clockwork gizmos, has a knack for creating automatons. Once activated, they can unleash powerful effects – be careful, though, as they’ll break apart if they take too much damage.”
Another recent trailer for the game showed off Zelda’s movement abilities, as well as new locations that players will visit in-game.
