New Call of Duty Vanguard story videos released as campaign details leak
The game’s multiplayer achievements have also reportedly been datamined
Activision has released new story videos for Call of Duty: Vanguard.
They set the scene for the game by introducing viewers to some of the main characters and the threat they’re tackling in the upcoming World War 2 shooter.
“Players will witness the origins of Special Forces as they change the face of history, forming Task Force One in a sprawling World War II narrative campaign spanning the Eastern and Western fronts of Europe, the Pacific, and North Africa,” according to Activision.
The release of the Vanguard story videos follow the publication of what are claimed to be newly datamined Vanguard details.
Alongside campaign and multiplayer achievements, HeyImAlaix has published what appear to be campaign level names and sections of dialogue from the story.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is scheduled to be released on November 5, 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC via Battle.net.
At launch, the game will include 20 multiplayer maps (these were also previously datamined) and a new Zombies experience.
As exclusively revealed by VGC earlier this year, Vanguard will be powered by an updated version of the Modern Warfare engine and Raven Software plans to launch a new WWII-themed Warzone map to coincide with its release.
