A new Tony Hawk game reveal is being teased in Black Ops 6

An easter egg in one of the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer maps appears to be hinting at a new Tony Hawk game announcement next month.

Season 02 Reloaded of Black Ops 6 launched today, adding two multiplayer maps along with other content, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

One of the newly added maps is Grind, a returning multiplayer map that previously featured in Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 4. The map is set in a skatepark in Venice, California.

Players have spotted that inside a skate shop located in the map, there’s a poster on the wall reading “03.04.25”, inside a logo that looks similar to those of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.

It appears, then, that the poster is suggesting a new announcement related to the Tony Hawk series of games will be coming on March 4.

The development of a new Tony Hawk game has been teased numerous times, the most recent being earlier this week.

Pro skater Tyshawn Jones stated on a podcast earlier this week that he was going to feature in an upcoming remaster.

“I’m in a Tony Hawk coming out, that’s cool,” Jones said. “They got a new one they remastering so that’s about to come out, I was in the last one.”

Tyshawn Jones appeared in the critically acclaimed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remake despite being too young to feature in either of the original games.

Many fans have been hoping that Activision would follow the release with a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remake, and Jones’s comments seem to imply something of that type is on the way.
