Netflix is being pulled from Nintendo Wii U and 3DS

Streaming service Netflix will be removed from Nintendo’s Wii U and 3DS consoles this summer.

The Netflix app was actually pulled from Nintendo eShop for both platforms on December 31, 2020, meaning it’s already no longer available for new users to download.

However, Nintendo says existing users will still be able to access the service until it’s discontinued on June 30, 2021.

Netflix remains unavailable on Nintendo’s latest console, Switch.

The entertainment app has been available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 since the consoles launched in November 2020.

Netflix is currently working on projects based on The Division, Beyond Good & Evil, Assassin’s Creed, Resident Evil, The Witcher, Cuphead and Cyberpunk 2077.
