NBA 2K22 is now on Xbox Game Pass
The Xbox One and Series X/S versions of 2K Sports’ basketball game are available for subscribers
NBA 2K22 is now available on Xbox Game Pass.
Both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions of 2K Sports‘ basketball game are now available for all subscribers.
This doesn’t include the PC version, however, which isn’t available on Microsoft‘s Windows Games Store.
The game’s addition to Game Pass coincides with the NBA Playoffs, which are currently nearing the end of the first round.
Last year, NBA 2K21 was added to Game Pass on March 4, 2021 and was then removed on August 31, shortly before NBA 2K22 was released.
This suggests that NBA 2K22 may also only remain on Game Pass until NBA 2K23 is set to release.
Xbox had previously confirmed that these four other games would be added to Game Pass this week:
- 7 Days to Die (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – April 26
- Research and Destroy (Console and PC) – April 26
- Bugsnax (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – April 28
- Unsouled (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – April 28
The following four games will also be leaving the service on April 30:
- Cricket 19 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Outlast 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Secret Neighbor (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Streets of Rage 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Microsoft has also announced that the number of Ubisoft titles on Game Pass will be expanding soon.
In the next two months, Assassin’s Creed Origins will join the library for cloud, console, and PC via the Ubisoft Connect app.
The company will also bring For Honor: Marching Fire Edition to PC via Ubisoft Connect, and upgrade to the Marching Fire Edition for cloud and console.
