More Battlefield 6 screenshots have reportedly leaked ahead of June’s official reveal
Showing a rocket explosion and a four-legged robot
Several images allegedly originating from the upcoming Battlefield 6 reveal trailer have been published online.
The blurry images, which are collated here along with two previously leaked ones, are all partially obscured by a LOL guy meme, although one Twitter user has photoshopped it out, as you can see below.
Influencer Tom Henderson, who has published several Battlefield 6 reports over the past few months – some corroborated by journalists – acknowledged the latest leak on Monday, seemingly confirming the images are from the game’s reveal trailer, which he claims to have seen.
Henderson claims DICE’s upcoming shooter will be set 10-15 years in the future and simply be called Battlefield.
He said last month that the upcoming Battlefield 6 reveal trailer will feature a desert island map with a rocket launch pad, and that the game will include four-legged robots that accompany soldiers on the battlefield, similar in appearance to those created by Boston Dynamics.
A tropical location is shown in the latest supposedly leaked images, which also include what appears to be a rocket blasting off and exploding, plus a quadruped robot.
Publisher Electronic Arts confirmed last week that Battlefield 6’s reveal trailer will be released in June, and that the game will be a cross-gen title when it hits consoles and PC this holiday season.
A senior EA communications director also sympathised with fans frustrated by the extended wait for Battlefield 6’s reveal, but pleaded for a bit more patience.
