Modern Warfare will reportedly add classic multiplayer map Highrise

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s upcoming multiplayer maps will reportedly include Highrise.

That’s according to ModernWarzone, which claims Highrise will join classic maps such as Crash, Vacant, Shipment and Rust already playable in 2019’s Modern Warfare.

Set atop a skyscraper with office buildings on opposite sides of the map, Highrise originally appeared in 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Activision released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered in April, noting that the game didn’t include a multiplayer mode because it planned to bring more classic maps to Modern Warfare.

Following ModernWarzone’s report, Activision confirmed on Sunday that it will release Highrise for Call of Duty Mobile “soon”.

Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 launched earlier this month, featuring a large amount of new content including Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer map Scrapyard, which was added to Call of Duty Mobile in Season 3.

Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 is also set to introduce new multiplayer map Cheshire Park, and fresh multiplayer modes including All or Nothing, One in the Chamber and Team Defender.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 7, Radioactive Agent, launched earlier this month with a new Tunisia multiplayer map and an expanded battle royale map.

References to an alpha build of the next Call of Duty game—understood to be called Black Ops Cold War—were seemingly uncovered on the PlayStation Network this month.
