Modern Warfare 3 campaign early access, beta details and pre-order bonuses leak
Vault Edition owners will be able to start playing the campaign a week early
More Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 details have emerged ahead of the game’s full reveal on Thursday.
Information on the pre-order rewards and bonus content included in the game’s Vault Edition were uncovered by dataminer ‘Alaix’, who published the leaked marketing images below on Twitter (via CharlieIntel).
They confirm that players who pre-order the Vault Edition will receive one week of early access to the game’s campaign.
All digital pre-orders of last year’s Modern Warfare 2 included early campaign access, so this may also be the case with the sequel.
The Vault Edition will also include early access to the game’s open beta, which is expected to come to PlayStation consoles first, plus a BlackCell Battle Pass and some Operator Packs.
Following a series of leaks, Activision officially announced Modern Warfare 3 last week. It will be released on November 10, 2023, for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
The publisher plans to fully unveil the game on August 17 during a Call of Duty: Warzone event starting at 10.30am PT / 1.30pm ET / 6.30pm BST / 7.30 CEST.
Ahead of Thursday’s reveal, Activision today announced fresh Modern Warfare 3 details, including plans for “the largest Zombies offering to date”, “new Open Combat missions in Campaign”, and new Combat Vests and perk system.
It’s also reportedly teasing plans for the game to feature remastered versions of all the launch multiplayer maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2.
