The new season launches on July 24

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5 will feature a WWE crossover, Activision has teased.
“It’s about to be a smackdown,” reads a message published on the official Call of Duty X account, which also confirmed a release date for the new season.
“WWE is bringing its best to the ring in Call of Duty Season 5 starting July 24.”

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded launched in late June. The mid-season update introduced a new 6v6 multiplayer map called Incline and the Bit Party Playlist modifier, which features a pixel-art inspired version of Favela.
It was claimed last week that Microsoft is planning to bring Modern Warfare 3 to Xbox Game Pass this month.
The claim was made shortly after the company confirmed plans to raise Xbox Game Pass prices and introduce a new subscription tier that doesn’t include day one releases.
Microsoft announced at the end of May that Black Ops 6 will be the first Call of Duty title to launch on the subscription service on day one, when it’s released on October 25, 2024.
