Going live on all platforms at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm GMT, the update features a host of new content across multiplayer, Zombies and battle royale.

On the multiplayer front, Season 3 includes six new core 6v6 maps, with four available at launch and two arriving mid-season.
The launch maps include 6 Star, which takes place atop a high-end resort in Dubai, and Emergency, which is set around an Arizonan medical facility on the summit of a remote mountain range.
Growhouse is a re-imagined take on Sphere from Call of Duty: Vanguard, which sees players fighting around a backwoods narcotics den, while Tanked takes place after hours in Vondel Zoo, cantered around the aquarium and reptile exhibits.
The mid-season maps are Grime, which is set around a derelict London canal, and Checkpoint, which is based on Rebirth Island’s Stronghold.
New game modes include Capture the Flag and One in the Chamber at launch, with Minefield and Escort arriving mid-season.

Zombies is getting a new story mission, a fresh Dark Aether Rift, and a new Warlord in the form of artillery and demolitions expert Rainmaker.
“Take a chance on Jansen as a full-scale rescue mission is launched after the doctor enters a new and terrifying region of the Dark Aether,” Activision says.
Warzone Season 3’s headline addition is the return of fan favourite map Rebirth Island alongside Resurgence mode, which let players respawn as long as one of their teammates is still alive.
There’s also a brand-new training mode called Warzone Bootcamp, which takes place on the Urzikstan map.
“Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp is a Quad-only training mode (either partied up or fill-squad) providing players a snapshot of the real-deal Call of Duty: Warzone experience, featuring up to 20 players via mode-specific matchmaking and 24 bots to test their mettle,” according to Activision.
“Warzone Bootcamp is the only mode for Call of Duty: Warzone featuring bots. If this changes in the future, we’ll ensure the community is informed ahead of time.”
Rebirth Island was also included as a launch map for Warzone Mobile last month.
