Metaphor: ReFantazio to sponsor Haas F1 driver during the Singapore Grand Prix

Atlus and Metaphor: ReFantazio will sponsor the Haas F1 team during this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix.

Haas driver Nico Hülkenberg shares a name with an in-game companion called Hulkenberg.

The sponsorship will see Metaphor: ReFantazio imagery added to the Haas car and jumpsuit this weekend.

Haas team’s director of marketing Mark Morrell said: “This hotly anticipated game is visually spectacular and filled with all the speed, suspense, and excitement you would expect from a Grand Prix.

“It’s our first partnership of this kind and we’re looking forward to sharing the exhilarating world of Metaphor: ReFantazio with racing fans.”

Irvin Ducournau, director of marketing at Atlus added:”Overcoming fear and anxiety is a central theme in Metaphor: ReFantazio, and being featured on the racecars of Nico Hülkenberg and Kevin Magnussen – drivers known for defying the impossible – perfectly mirrors our game, where players beat the odds in their chase for the crown in the Royal Tournament.

“Partnering with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team ahead of the Singapore GP is a natural fit, as the high-stakes nature of Formula 1 aligns seamlessly with the competitive election mechanic in the game, where players gain followers in their own race for victory.”

A VGC hands-on preview said that Metaphor: ReFantazio ” is going to make the wait for Persona 6 so much easier”.

“It’s not a Persona clone, but the team has taken everything you’d want them to from a Persona title, and brought it to its new world of Metaphor: ReFantazio,” we wrote. “If the future of Atlus is swapping between a Metaphor and a Persona every few years, we’re all for it.”
