Metal Gear Solid Master Collection might not support keyboard and mouse on PC
Briefly accessible Steam pages reportedly stated buyers will need a controller to play
The PC version of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 might not officially support keyboard and mouse controls.
Konami confirmed on Wednesday that the collection is coming to PC, Switch, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 on October 24, and that Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will also be available as standalone digital titles separate from the collection.
Following the announcement, Steam pages for the individual games reportedly went live briefly before being taken offline.
Users who visited the store pages while they were still accessible claim they displayed messages confirming each title “requires a controller to play” and that “playing with a keyboard and mouse isn’t supported.”
VGC has contacted Konami to confirm if these claims are accurate.
