Meganium raids coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet this weekend
Blissey will also feature in raids
Meganium with the Mightiest Mark will be added as a raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet this weekend.
The Pokémon, which first appeared in 1999’s Pokémon Gold and Silver, is not usually catchable in Paldea, although it is possible to catch Meganium’s basic form, in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC.
Meganium will appear this weekend from Friday, April 12, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, April 14, at 23:59 UTC.
This Meganium will be psychic tera type and feature the Mightiest Mark, an in-game marker denoting the strongest raids in the game.
This special Meganium can be caught only once per save data. If you caught this Meganium previously during a Tera Raid Battle event, you cannot catch it again. You can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against this Meganium to obtain other rewards if you’ve already caught it.
Blissey will also be appearing more frequently in 5-star Tera Raid Battle this weekend alongside Meganium.
The Pokémon Company confirmed last weekend that the Pokémon World Championships will take place from August 16-18 at the Honolulu Convention Center in Hawaii.
The next game in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Legends Z-A, was recently announced.
The game, which will be the second Pokémon Legends game following Pokémon Legends Arceus, was revealed during a Pokémon Presents showcase last month.
Set for release in 2025, Pokémon Legends Z-A will see players revisit the Kalos region and Lumoise City.
