Mediatonic would ‘love to release Fall Guys on other platforms’ in the future
But current focus is on PS4 and PC versions as first update adds new level
Mediatonic has said it would “love” to bring its colourful last man standing game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout to other platforms in the future.
Fall Guys released for PS4 and Steam on August 4, with the console version also available via PlayStation Plus this month.
The game has proved to be a big hit, with the PC version selling over two million copies inside a week, and 23 million hours watched on Twitch during the same time frame.
In an update on its support site regarding the possibility of releasing the game for Xbox One, Switch or other platforms, Mediatonic said: “To start with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam. We’d love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line.”
The studio has also confirmed that Fall Guys’ first update will introduce a new level called Jump Showdown today.
“More new levels will be coming soon – along with new features & costumes,” it said.
Full patch notes for the update can be found here.
