May’s Xbox Live Games with Gold line-up confirmed

Microsoft has revealed May’s free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

On Xbox One, members will be able to download party game compilation Marooners (normally $9.99/£7.99) for free during the month of May.

The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour (normally $49.99/£44.99) will be available as a free download from May 16 to June 15.

On Xbox 360, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (normally $19.99/£14.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members from May 1 to May 15.

From May 16 until the end of the month, Comic Jumper (normally $14.99/£9.99) will be free to download.

As part of April’s Games with Gold line-up, members can download The Technomancer and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 for free until the end of the month, while Outcast – Second Contact is free until May 15.

In the UK, Xbox Live prices will rise by up to 25% from May 8. Microsoft says the move will “ensure gamers have consistent pricing for the service across Europe”.

Earlier this month, the platform holder announced Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Launching later this year, it’ll combine Xbox Live Gold membership with Xbox Game Pass in one subscription package.
