Mario Kart 8 Deluxe‘s Wave 2 DLC is available now.
The second wave of Booster Course Pass tracks arrived at 10am EDT / 3pm BST today, adding two new Grands Prix and eight new tracks to the game.
Wave 2 consists of two new Grands Prix, each containing four tracks. These new GPs are called the Turnip Cup and the Propeller Cup.
The eight new tracks are:
- Tour New York Minute
- SNES Mario Circuit 3
- N64 Kalimari Desert
- DS Waluigi Pinball
- Tour Sydney Sprint
- GBA Snow Land
- Wii Mushroom Gorge
- Sky-High Sundae
Nintendo has also confirmed that the update changes the Coconut Mall track, adding a surprise new obstacle.
The cars near the end of the circuit, which were previously stationary, now drive around erratically.
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, which costs $24.99 / £24.99, provides 48 DLC tracks across its six waves.
The courses include remakes of classic tracks from across the series from games such as Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Kart Wii, as well as handheld entries and the mobile game, Mario Kart Tour.
Players who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack receive access to the DLC as part of their subscription.
