Mario 3D All-Stars overview trailer shows its modern upgrades and music player mode
It also includes plenty of 64, Sunshine and Galaxy gameplay
Nintendo of America has released a Super Mario 3D All-Stars overview trailer.
Announced on September 3, Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a compilation containing Nintendo Switch versions of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy.
The new trailer features fresh gameplay footage from the Switch versions of all three games, plus a look at the modern upgrades the titles have received and the music player mode included in the compilation, which features over 170 songs.
Super Mario 64 features Joy-Con controls with rumble and improved picture resolution (720p docked and portable), Sunshine features higher-resolution 16:9 visuals (1080p docked, 720p portable), and Galaxy features Joy-Con controls which mimic the original Wii Remote (1080p docked, 720p portable).
Priced at $59.99/£49.99, 3D All-Stars will be available as a limited digital and physical release from September 18, 2020 until March 31, 2021, Nintendo has said.
The game’s limited availability has contributed to strong pre-orders. At the time of writing it’s Amazon’s second most purchased video game of 2020 in the US and its fifth most purchased title of the year in the UK.
You can pre-order Mario 3D All-Stars from Amazon, Best Buy and Game, among other retailers.
