Luigi’s Mansion 3 releasing in fourth calendar quarter of 2019

Resident Evil 5 and 6 target Jul-Sep, Witcher 3 and Alien: Isolation Oct-Dec

The Luigi’s Mansion 3 release date is planned for the fourth calendar quarter of 2019.

That’s according to the image below, which was originally posted on Nintendo’s US and European Twitter accounts and provides launch windows for upcoming Switch games featured at E3 2019.

While we already knew specific release dates for some of the biggest upcoming Switch games, such as September 20 for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and November 15 for Pokémon Sword and Shield, until now Luigi’s Mansion 3 and several newly announced games merely had vague 2019 launch windows.

Announced last week for Nintendo’s console, Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 will launch in the third calendar quarter of 2019, while The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Alien: Isolation and Panzer Dragoon join Luigi’s Mansion 3 as fourth quarter 2019 releases.

During the Nintendo Direct E3 broadcast last week, the platform holder delayed Animal Crossing: New Horizons from its previously announced 2019 launch window to March 2020. The move contributed to Nintendo’s biggest one-day shares decline since April, knocking $1 billion off its market value.
