Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Zelda will be playable at E3 2019
Nintendo details show floor plans
Luigi’s Mansion 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will be playable at Nintendo’s E3 2019 booth, the platform holder has confirmed.
The company will also exhibit Pokémon Sword and Shield and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, it said.
Notably there’s no mention of Animal Crossing, which was previously announced for a 2019 release. However, Nintendo’s statement mentions that it will have “various other games” playable at its E3 booth.
The Nintendo Direct E3 2019 presentation will take place on Tuesday June 11 at 9am PT (5pm UK/6pm CEST) and focus on “upcoming games for Nintendo Switch.”
Nintendo will also run its Treehouse live stream during the show, including a focus on indie games on Thursday, June 13.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 world championship tournaments will be held on June 8, featuring players from North America, Europe, Japan and Australia/New Zealand.
Finally, during E3 2019 the platform holder will offer discounts on select digital Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games in Nintendo eShop.
The sale starts at 7pm CEST on June 11 and runs until 23.59 (local time) on June 18. The full list of discounted games will be announced next week.
Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa recently ruled out unveiling any Switch hardware revisions at E3.
