Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has been announced.
The sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released in 2024.
The game’s debut trailer, which premiered during the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, showed Ichiban Kasuga washing up on a beach in the US.
According to Xbox, the game “highlights an unexpected chain of events that sets two legendary yakuza, Kasuga Ichiban and Kazuma Kiryu, on a larger-than-life RPG adventure”.
Other than the teaser trailer, not much else was revealed about the game.
More information may be shared during RGG Studio Summit Summer 2023, a presentation set to be broadcast by Yakuza developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio in a few days.
The presentation will take place on Thursday June 15 at 8pm PT / 11pm ET / 4am BST (Friday), and will show details of the studio’s upcoming title.
One title almost certain to be shown during the presentation is Yakuza spin-off Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
The game received a new trailer during the Summer Game Fest showcase on Thursday and will be released on November 9 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
