Life is Strange 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch
Square Enix will release the game for Nintendo’s console in February
Life is Strange 2 has been announced for Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix, the game will be released for Nintendo’s console on February 2, 2023.
It’s now available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop and a Switch announcement trailer is viewable below.
The narrative adventure game originally released episodically for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles between 2018 and 2019.
“You play as sixteen-year-old Sean Diaz, a normal kid growing up in the suburbs of Seattle. After your younger brother Daniel’s telekinetic powers are unleashed by a traumatic incident, you are forced to abandon your home and flee from the police,” according to the official blurb.
“As a big brother, you are solely responsible for not only Daniel’s safety, shelter, and wellbeing – but also how he grows to harness his power as you travel across the USA in an attempt to cross the border into Mexico.”
The series made its handheld debut when the third main instalment, Life is Strange True Colors, was released for Switch in December 2021.
Life is Strange Remastered Collection, which includes remasters of the original game and its prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm, was released for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia in February 2022 before coming to Switch last September.
