Lies of P gets September release date and a demo is available now

Lies of P will be released in September, it’s been announced.

The title, which was during Summer Game Fest‘s live kick-off show on Thursday, will be released on September 19 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.

A demo of the game which consists of the first two chapters has also been released today for PC and consoles.

“Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action souls-like game set in a dark Belle Époque world,” according to developer and publisher Neowiz. “Guide Pinocchio on his unrelenting journey to become human.”

Pre-orders for the digital standard edition come with the Mischievous Puppet’s Set outfit, while the deluxe edition adds the Great Venigni’s Set outfit, a unique mask, and grants players access to the game three days early.

The physical version is presented in an exclusive steel book tome-inspired collector’s box alongside a 92-page art book. Bonus digital items include the original soundtrack, The Great Venigni’s Set outfit, and a unique mask to be worn to the festival. A physical standard edition is also available.
